While conventional socks are often made from polyester and polyamide, we consistently rely on Fairtrade-certified organic cotton. No compromise on price, comfort, or everyday suitability – but a clear statement against fast fashion. Awarded the Fairtrade Award 2026.

Cultivated by cotton farmers in India who receive secure incomes through fair prices and premiums. The organic cotton feels pleasantly soft on the skin, is breathable, and is free of synthetic pesticides or genetically modified seeds. For us, it is the foundation of our textiles, combining responsibility and suitability for everyday use.

A sock simply doesn't work without stretch: it needs to fit well, conform comfortably to the foot, and retain its shape. That's why our socks contain 3% ROICA™ V550.

ROICA™ V550 is a degradable elastane and therefore a synthetic fiber. Unlike conventional elastane, ROICA™ V550 was developed as an alternative stretch fiber that can degrade without releasing harmful substances into the environment. This makes it a better alternative to conventional elastane fibers.

For us, ROICA™ V550 is a conscious compromise: we use only as much stretch fiber as necessary and as much Fairtrade-certified organic cotton as possible.

We consistently forgo polyester and polyamide – not only in the main material, but also in sewing and embroidery threads as well as carrier materials.

This is unique because many conventional socks use precisely these materials to simplify elasticity, stability, or processing. We wanted to show: There is another way. More thoughtful, fairer, and with an exceptionally high proportion of organic cotton.

What are SUPER SUSTAINABLE SOCKS made of?
Our socks are made of 97% Fairtrade certified organic cotton and 3% ROICA™ V550, a degradable elastane. We completely refrain from using polyester and polyamide – even in our sewing and embroidery threads. Our goal is to avoid synthetic materials wherever there is a better alternative. That's why we even use a 100% cotton backing material for our embroidery socks.

What does Fairtrade-certified mean for socks in concrete terms?
The cotton comes from Fairtrade-certified cotton farmers in India. Fair prices and premiums lead to more stable incomes and safe working conditions for people who often otherwise have little voice.

Are the socks also suitable for everyday use?
Yes. From the outset, our aim was to create a product suitable for everyday use that could compete with conventional socks in terms of price and comfort – without any compromises.

Our size recommendation
Are you between two sizes? Then choose the larger one. Due to the unusually high cotton content, the socks may appear a little more compact after washing. Simply gently pull them back into shape after washing.
