SUPER SUSTAINABLE SOCKS – The sock revolution

Socks are among the most frequently purchased textiles – and that's precisely why we've completely rethought them. While conventional socks are often made from polyester and polyamide, we consistently rely on Fairtrade-certified organic cotton. No compromise on price, comfort, or everyday suitability – but a clear statement against fast fashion. Awarded the Fairtrade Award 2026.

What truly makes our socks special

Innovation lies in the details: We consistently avoid polyester and polyamide – not only in the main fabric, but also in sewing and embroidery threads as well as labels. This creates a product that is sustainably designed through and through, rather than merely appearing "green" on the surface.

Material Facts:

  • 97% Fairtrade-certified organic cotton
  • 3% ROICA™ V550 (degradable elastane)
  • 0% polyester, 0% polyamide – also in threads & labels
  • GOTS and Grüner Knopf certified

Warum SUPER SUSTAINABLE?

97 % Bio-Baumwolle, Fairtrade-zertifiziert

Excellent: Fairtrade Award in the Newcomer category

With the SUPER SUSTAINABLE SOCKS, we have proven that even a classic mass-produced item like socks can be manufactured consistently fairly, transparently, and without polyester – without compromising on price or everyday usability. For this commitment, we were honored by Fairtrade Germany in the Newcomer category.

The award primarily recognizes three measures: the material upgrade to 97% Fairtrade-certified organic cotton and 3% biodegradable ROICA™ V550, the consistent avoidance of polyester and polyamide – even in sewing and embroidery threads – and the establishment of a fully certified supply chain in India, where our production partner additionally obtained Fairtrade Cotton certification.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about Our Fair Socks

What are SUPER SUSTAINABLE SOCKS made of?
Our socks are made of 97% Fairtrade certified organic cotton and 3% ROICA™ V550, a degradable elastane. We completely refrain from using polyester and polyamide – even in our sewing and embroidery threads. Our goal is to avoid synthetic materials wherever there is a better alternative. That's why we even use a 100% cotton backing material for our embroidery socks.

What does Fairtrade-certified mean for socks in concrete terms?
The cotton comes from Fairtrade-certified cotton farmers in India. Fair prices and premiums lead to more stable incomes and safe working conditions for people who often otherwise have little voice.

Are the socks also suitable for everyday use?
Yes. From the outset, our aim was to create a product suitable for everyday use that could compete with conventional socks in terms of price and comfort – without any compromises.

Which certifications do the SUPER SUSTAINABLE SOCKS carry?
GOTS, Grüner Knopf and Fairtrade Cotton.

Unser Größen-Tipp
