Iconic, with a modern twist: our casually cut cable-knit sweater Samaira, made from 100% organic cotton, combines high-quality, heavy knit with a timeless design. The intricate cable pattern on the front and back adds structure. The ribbed edges and dropped shoulders give the look its characteristic finish. This style is the ideal companion for autumn and winter, offering pleasant warmth and versatile styling options.
If you like this style, then it is meant for you. We believe that everyone can wear our clothing, regardless of gender stereotypes.
Material & Care
In order to avoid conventional synthetic fibers, we do not use elastane in cuffs and hems, for example. As a result, these areas may stretch slightly during wear and contract again after washing.
We recommend washing this sweater at 30°C (86°F) on a delicate cycle and air drying it. We advise against using a tumble dryer. Lower washing temperatures and air drying save energy and can simultaneously protect the material and shape.
Sustainability
All MELA textiles are certified according to Fairtrade Cotton, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and the Green Button. These three certifications address different points in our supply chain and complement each other in their social and environmental requirements.
