Description

Khira, our modern, classic T-shirt, is the ideal companion for everyday wear and is therefore suitable for every look. The straight fit is completed by a high and round neckline, fine ribbed cuffs and topstitching.

Made from 100% fair trade organic cotton, this breathable T-shirt is particularly comfortable to wear and is completely vegan. KHIRA is part of our collection. Since we want to avoid overproduction, we initially produced this item in limited quantities. So get your new favorite T-shirt now! If you like this style, then it's for you. We believe that everyone can wear our clothes, regardless of gender stereotypes.

In order to avoid conventional synthetic fibers, we do not use elastane for cuffs and hems, for example. As a result, these areas may stretch slightly during wear and contract again after washing.

We recommend washing this T-shirt at 30 °C on a gentle cycle and air-drying it. We advise against using a tumble dryer. Lower washing temperatures and air drying save energy while also helping to preserve the material and shape.

Sustainability

All MELA textiles are triple-certified according to Fairtrade Cotton, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and the Green Button. We believe the social and ecological aspects of these standards complement each other perfectly, allowing us to confidently speak of holistically sustainable textiles.

Through the Fairtrade Cotton Standard, we ensure compliance with social criteria in raw material extraction. We place particular emphasis on fair pay for cotton farmers. With every MELA item purchased, you support Indian cotton cooperatives with a Fairtrade premium. MELA is also part of the new Fairtrade Textile Standard and is committed to ensuring living wages throughout the entire supply chain.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) ensures that only ecologically optimized substances are used throughout the entire supply chain—from cotton cultivation to fabric dyeing—and that social standards are met. This process is monitored by independent certification bodies.

In addition, this article is certified according to the state textile seal Green Button, which verifies social and environmental criteria at both the product and company level.
