Ribbed Socks Artist Edition 2 Pairs

Our socks are free from polyamide and polyester. We do not even use synthetic fibers for the connecting seams, as is otherwise common in sock production. They consist of 97% Fairtrade organic cotton and 3% ROICA™ V550. This elastane fiber provides the necessary elasticity and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Material Health Gold. In an environmental impact assessment by Hohenstein, it was proven that the material gradually degrades under defined test conditions. Thanks to the hand-linked, extra-flat toe seam, our socks feel pleasantly soft and comfortable against the skin.

We recommend washing these socks at 30 °C on a gentle cycle and air drying them. We advise against using a tumble dryer. Lower wash temperatures and air drying save energy while also helping to preserve the material and shape.

All MELA textiles are triple-certified according to Fairtrade Cotton, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and the Green Button. We believe the social and ecological aspects of these standards complement each other perfectly, allowing us to confidently speak of holistically sustainable textiles.
